  • Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc)
  • Sorts and organizes freight
  • Operate various types of material handling equipment (forklift, electric pallet jacks, order selectors)
  • Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
  • Pick, scan, sort and label.
  • Identify unusable pallets
  • Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
  • Select and scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy.
  • Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition
    • Minimum Requirements
  • 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
  • Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to lbs
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment preferred (ie electric pallet jack, forklift, order selector)
  • Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
  • Excellent customer service required
  • Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
  • Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
  • Standing/climbing 8 to hours per day
  • Effective communication skills
  • Safety shoes are required
