Job Description
The Industrial Automation Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing advanced automation frameworks, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, and process instrumentation. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability through proactive troubleshooting, technical project support, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities & Activities
- System Maintenance & Optimization: Maintain and modify plant-wide automation systems, ensuring PLC, HMI, and SCADA architectures are optimized for peak performance; provide rapid troubleshooting for automation-related issues within production areas and utilities to minimize operational disruptions; manage and maintain plant PLC/SCADA program backups, ensuring robust restoration protocols are in place.
