<p><strong>Energy Projects Engineer (CAaaS® Program) </strong><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Location: Jacksonville, Florida</span><br><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Monday–Friday)</span><br><br><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Climeaction is recruiting an experienced Energy Projects Engineer to join our U.S. team and deliver our Climate Action as a Service (CAaaS®) program on-site at a leading medical device manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a hands-on, embedded engineering role focused on improving energy performance, reducing utility costs, and driving decarbonization across critical utility systems.</span><br><br><strong>What You’ll Do </strong></p><ul><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Lead energy performance improvement activities across major utilities, including HVAC, chillers, boilers, compressed air, steam, hot water, and other significant energy-using systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Conduct system assessments, identify engineering opportunities, and develop practical, evidence-based improvement recommendations.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Perform detailed energy data analysis, including baselining, trending, and project impact verification.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Support project execution—scoping, technical review, vendor coordination, commissioning support, and performance validation.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Work closely with the client’s engineering and facilities teams while collaborating with Climeaction’s wider technical experts.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Contribute to ISO 50001-style structured energy management activities and continuous improvement.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Identify and help prepare submissions for utility rebates and incentive programs.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Prepare clear, concise reports and updates for client stakeholders.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Bring </strong></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">5+ years of relevant engineering experience within industrial, commercial, or manufacturing facilities.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Strong technical expertise in HVAC, chillers, boilers, compressed air, and other major utilities.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Experience with operational performance, troubleshooting, energy audits, or system optimization.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Competence in energy and utility data analysis.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Experience with ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems and/or structured energy programs (advantageous).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Understanding of utility rebate programs and energy incentives (advantageous).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or a related Engineering discipline (required).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical writing skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ">Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span
