About the Team –Supply Chain Operations

The Supply Chain Operations team plays a critical role in enabling the end-to-end supply chain ecosystem. Weare responsible formanaging key business processes and supporting the development and execution of capabilities that enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness. Job Summary

As anIndustrialEngineer,you will support the design and optimization of Target’s supply chain processes and facilities. You will apply process improvement and material flow design principles to enable efficient, safe, and scalable operations. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional partners, you will contribute to process improvement initiativesthrough process optimization using Data Analytics and Simulation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support process analysis toidentifyinefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assistin creating process maps, layouts, and workflows tooptimizematerial and product flow.
  • Collect andanalyzedata to define throughput, storage, and cycle time requirements.
  • Build basic models to simulate material flow andidentifypotential constraints.
  • Support evaluation of automation and robotics technologies by researching solution options.
  • Assistin preparing cost models for capital and operational expenses of design alternatives.
  • Draft technical documentation andassistin preparing RFPs with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Ensure process and design workcomply withsafety and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, facilities, vendors) to execute design solutions.
  • Provide documentation, reporting, and process tracking to sustain improvements.

    • Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s/master's in engineeringormaster's in computer science
  • 1+ years inData Analytics,process design, automation engineering, or supply chain facility design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong Excel,IntermediateinSQLand Foundational knowledgein R/Pythona must
  • Strongcommunicationand collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement concepts. Exposure to simulation tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in flexible timings as the role involves strong partnership with Global teams
  • Supply chain domain experience particularly in warehouse operations will be an added advantage
