Overview

The Industrial Engineering Organization provides mission-critical support to EB leadership and the functional organizations by developing and managing the organization's improvement strategies, executing improvement initiatives, mentoring and supporting employees in executing improvements, and measuring the impact of an organization's improvement activities.

The Industrial Engineer supports 3 main areas of focus:

  • Support Work Center design (defining the location that a series of work activities are performed and all the equipment, tooling, fixtures and personnel required) for Columbia construction. The Industrial Engineer will partner with Operations, Ship’s Management and Planning to create standard, repeatable plans for each Work Center.
