Job Title: Industrial Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Assist with the fabrication, installation and adjustment of production equipment;
- Perform maintenance work according to the preventive maintenance program;
- Identify and either resolve required repairs;
- Notify your immediate supervisor of potential issues, hazards, or repairs required that you cannot resolve on your own;
- Assist in the installation of equipment and make the necessary adjustments;
- Adjust, replace and clean parts or equipment, if needed;
- Perform minor welding, electrical or carpentry repairs;
- Read plans and install mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
Essential Skills
- 3rd year+ apprentice - journeyman / red seal Industrial Mechanic / Millwright
- Experience with electromechanical automation, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience with mechanical blueprints / schematics
