We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join the Industrial Postgraduate Programme (IPP), a collaborative initiative between academia and industry. As an IPP candidate, you will pursue a PhD/Master degree while conducting applied research on a project co-developed with a sponsoring company and university. You will be jointly supervised by academic and industry mentors, and are expected to contribute to impactful solutions that address real-world challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research aligned with the company’s business and technological needs
  • Collaborate closely with both academic and industry supervisors throughout the research
  • Spend at least 50% of research time at the company’s premises
  • Prepare and publish academic papers or technical reports where applicable
  • Participate in regular reviews, seminars, and research milestone assessments
  • Present findings to both academic and industry stakeholders

  • Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computing, science, or a related field
  • Strong academic background and interest in applied research
  • Full-time commitment for the duration of the program
  • Alignment with the project’s research focus area
  • Meet university admission requirements for postgraduate research degrees
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently and in cross-functional teams
