Industrial Spray Painter – Workshop Based | Bathurst

We’re currently seeking motivated and reliable Industrial Spray Painters to join our client, a well-established engineering company, based in a workshop environment within the Bathurst Area.
This role suits painters who enjoy consistent, workshop-based work rather than site-to-site travel. Formal qualifications are not essential, however experience as a professional painter is highly advantageous.

Your Day-to-Day May Include:
- Preparing steel components and fabricated items for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking, priming)
- Operating spray-painting equipment (airless, HVLP, or conventional)
- Applying industrial coatings, primers, and finishes to engineered steel and components
- Mixing paints and coatings to specifications
- Adhering to all WHS and workshop safety procedures
- Previous experience in industrial, commercial, or professional painting
- Confident use of spray-painting equipment
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Understanding of WHS and safe workshop practices
- Reliable transport and strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in an engineering or fabrication workshop
- Background as a professional painter (industrial or commercial)
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Tickets such as EWP or Working at Heights
- Competitive hourly rates + penalties and allowances paid weekly
