Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position serves as an Industrial Worker located at located at Pine Bluff Arsenal. Responsibilities Conducts ammunition operations and chemical/biological defense duties. Operates equipment to include hand tools, power presses, and other devices used for specific applications. Completes assignments in connection with the production, rebuilding or demilitarization of chemical munitions. Applies detailed instructions that concern alterations of temperature settings, mixing of detergents and other cleaning agents in proper proportions. Assists with sorting the different metals for salvage. Clean and removes rust, paint, grease, dirt, corrosion, etc., from casings, projectiles, threads or other parts by using solvents.
