Industry Development Director (Consumer Sectors)

Position: Joint Director / Additional Director – Retail, FMCG & E-commerce

Reporting To: Deputy Secretary General

Unit: Retail, FMCG & E-commerce

JOB PURPOSE

To lead FICCI’s Retail, FMCG, and E-commerce sector initiatives by driving policy advocacy, industry engagement, research, and knowledge platforms. The role exists to represent industry perspectives to government and regulators, strengthen member value, and position FICCI as a thought leader in consumer-facing sectors. The role includes managing a small sector team of 2–3 professionals.

The role operates in a fast-evolving consumer and digital commerce landscape influenced by regulatory changes, supply chain dynamics, digitisation, and consumer behaviour shifts.
