Influencer Marketing Manager

Amber is building the world’s largest student housing platform. We’re looking for an Influencer Marketing Manager to own, scale, and systemise our global creator engine across markets like UK, US, Australia, and more.
This is a leadership + performance + growth role, not just outreach.
Role Overview You will be responsible for leading Amber’s influencer ecosystem globally — from discovery and partnerships to campaign execution, performance tracking, and team management. You will own strategy, budgets, ROI, and execution across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Build and execute Amber’s global influencer marketing strategy across key international markets.
- Identify and onboard high-impact creators aligned with Amber’s brand, audience, and business goals.
- Plan full-funnel campaigns: awareness, consideration, and conversions.
- Brainstorm and execute creative, scalable campaign formats with strong performance hooks.
Team & Operations
- Manage a team of 5–10 people of Sr & Jr resources
- Ensure to achieve & optimise set processes, workflows, and performance targets.
- Train the team on discovery tools, negotiation, performance analysis, and execution quality.
- End of the year cycle auditing & commission payouts for affiliate partners
- Maintaing operations for the entire team
Over see Influencer Partnerships
- Over see the following for the team: Research, shortlist, and evaluate influencers using discovery tools and data.
- Initiate contact, build long-term relationships, and manage influencer partnerships.
- Negotiate commercials, contracts, and deliverables ensuring cost efficiency & performance ROI.
- Manage agencies and external partners (agency experience is a big plus).
Campaign Management & Performance
- Own end-to-end execution of influencer campaigns: briefing, execution, tracking, and reporting.
- Monitor performance across reach, engagement, traffic, conversions, CAC, ROI.
- Use data, dashboards, Excel, and analytics to continuously optimise performance.
- Work closely with CRM, performance marketing, and business teams to close any operations
Budget & Planning
- Manage influencer marketing budgets across markets and campaigns.
- Forecast spends, track performance, and continuously improve ROI.
- Ensure strong financial discipline and performance accountability.
Market & Trend Intelligence
- Stay ahead of platform trends, creator economy shifts, content formats, and regulations.
- Track what’s working in global influencer marketing and apply it to Amber’s playbook.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 4–8+ years of experience in Influencer Marketing / Creator Partnerships / Performance Partnerships.
- Proven experience running large-scale, international influencer campaigns.
- Strong experience in negotiation, budgeting, ROI tracking, and performance marketing mindset.
- Excellent with Excel, analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with influencer discovery tools, CRMs, and tracking systems.
- Experience managing and scaling teams and operations.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, You Tube, Tik Tok, Twitter/X, Facebook and emerging platforms.
Good-to-Have
- Prior agency experience.
- Experience in D2 C, marketplace, consumer internet, or Gen-Z focused brands.
- Experience working with international markets and creators.
