Infor LN Technical Consultant

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add a Infor LN Technical Consultant (Baan V / Infor LN) IT located in Chennai / Coimbatore location.

A Baan Tools specialist who can work on a highly customized baan4/baan5 environment. Handling customizations on baan4/baan5/Infor Ln.

Working exhaustively on the Infor Ln Tools Application Development module.

Reporting to the Manager , and the role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Time estimation based on development specifications for developments to be done using Baan Tools.
• Develop new *components/customize existing *components in baan4 and baan5/Infor Ln development environment using Infor Tools, based on technical specifications.
• Testing of customizations/new developments as per user requirement.
• Create patches/dumps on Baan 4 and baan5.
• Installation of dumps/patches/PMC on Baan 4/Baan 5/Ln servers.
• Analysis of existing components and optimize existing *components for performance.
• Troubleshooting and debugging errors arising out of Baan application.
• Development and Testing related Documentation.
• Adherence to Development rules/guidelines.
• Components – Includes Sessions, tables, domains, forms, scripts, Dal, DAL-2 , User exits, Reports, DOM, labels, extensions.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in IT or related fields.
• Min 5-8Yrs of exp in IT and 3+Yrs of exp in Baan V / Infor LN
• Designing, developing, and implementing solutions in BaanV/Infor LN ERP system, focusing on customizing, integrating, and supporting the software to meet specific business needs.
• Sound knowledge of Baan application development using Baan Tools/Infor LN; (tables, domains, forms, scripts, DAL, DAL-2, User exits, Reports, DOM, labels, extensions, Ln Studio, API).
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Testing and debugging of customization new developments as per user requirement.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude in understanding business side as well as IT side in problem solving.
• Working closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure effective solutions.
• Flexible attitude.
• Good at self-teaching and desire to continuously learn.
• Day shift (8am-5pm / 11am-8pm)
