Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Platform Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the Informatica suite of tools across the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, security, and smooth operation of the Informatica platform while supporting development and business teams.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain the Informatica platform (PowerCenter, IDQ, MDM, IICS, etc.)

  • Administer Informatica domains, repositories, services, and user security

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability

  • Manage backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning

  • Implement security best practices, including user access control and role management

  • Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and application teams for platform support

  • Perform capacity planning and optimize platform performance

  • Apply patches, hotfixes, and upgrades as required

  • Provide L2/L3 support and resolve production issues within SLA

  • Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and best practices



Additional Information

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience as an Informatica Platform Administrator

  • Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter and related Informatica tools

  • Solid understanding of Informatica domain architecture and services

  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting

  • Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL

  • Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting

  • Strong understanding of security, backup, and disaster recovery concepts
