Job Title : Informatica + teradata

Location : Only Chennai/ Bangalore / Pune/ Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• ETL Development: Design and develop complex mappings, sessions, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Data Integration: Utilize Teradata utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPT) for high-volume data loading.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize SQL queries and ETL mappings to improve performance in Teradata environments.
• Data Modeling: Implement Dimensional Modelling (Star/Snowflake schema) and understand DW architecture.
• Scripting & Troubleshooting: Perform Unix shell scripting to automate jobs and debug production issues.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 6-10+ years in ETL development, with specific experience in Informatica and Teradata.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Teradata SQL, Informatica PowerCenter/BDM, and UNIX/Linux.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and SCD (Slowly Changing Dimensions).
• Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Hadoop/Hive, Big Data Management (BDM), or Python.
