Information Management Specialist

The Information Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving a data collection system in accordance with requirements from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).   Timeliness and accuracy of work is a key component to this position. This position is expected to receive and respond to all data communications. Supports other functional areas as directed and performs other duties as assigned.This position reports to the Information Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Accountable for the accurate entry of information contained on the CMS 2728, 2746 and 2744 forms entered by the facilities into the CMS specified software, as directed in the Data Users’ Guide and ESRD Network Administration Manual.
