Role: Information Security Analyst

Location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India – 5x days onsite

Job Overview

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for safeguarding the organization's information systems and networks by implementing and monitoring security protocols, detecting and responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies. This role involves collaboration with IT and cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and mitigate threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain:
  • Email filter gateway
  • IDR solution
  • EDR solution
  • Security awareness and training platform
• Monitor vulnerabilities across corporate assets and work with IT on mitigation strategies
• Respond to security alerts, perform root-cause analysis, and implement recovery measures
• Promote a culture of security through employee education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in security roles
• Experience with:
  • Rapid7 SIEM and IDR suite
  • Rapid7 IVM
  • Avanan email gateway
  • Zoho Patch Manager
  • SentinelOne EDR
  • ServiceNow ticketing system

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats and risk management practices
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
