OverviewLutron’s Gurgaon team is seeking a technically driven professional to lead our IT and PC Help Desk support function. In this role, you will apply your expertise to resolve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality support across the business. Responsibilities As an Information Technology Leader at Lutron you will:
Lead the team in providing second line support for IT and PC Help Desk related issues to Lutron’s global team members, remote as well as in-personResolving support calls in the help desk system, through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions, solving problemsHardware troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, VC equipmentTroubleshoot Windows OS, Office 365, mobile devices, video conferencing softwareWork with the global PCHD & IT team on unresolved / escalated issuesInstallation, repair and maintenance of computers, printers, peripherals and network related equipmentAssisting in the maintenance of the IT assets Installing configuring and decommissioning of IT assetsSetup new hardware and software and ensure connectivity of networked workstationsIdentify and suggest possible improvements to procedures and support the IT leadership with implementing themManage the day-to-day deliveries of the team, manage stakeholder expectations.Responsible for quality of the deliverables, identify and generate team metricsCoach and mentor the team members and plan their career developmentDevelop and improve your skills in multiple IT disciplinesTake ownership of the team’s deliverables and work with the stakeholders to align expectationsDeliver IT solutions with a hands-on attitude and a strong work ethicCollaborate with team members, within and across teams and senior management across the organization, using strong written and verbal communication skills, to drive consensusGain knowledge of other IT functions to be able to understand the integration with your team to provide a cohesive IT solution to the end usersPlan the training and onboardings for new team members, and for current team members on new tasksInterface with internal stakeholders throughout all project phases, including understanding business requirementsMentor and guide peers and team membersIdentify and lead improvements to procedures as a part of continuous improvementDrive issues/tickets to resolution, understand the business impact, working with stakeholders and peers across teams to identify the root cause; documenting and sharing the lessons learntIndependently implements IT solutions with a hands-on attitude and a strong work ethicLeads the implementation of IT solutions with a hands-on attitude and a strong work ethicCreate knowledge documentation including lessons learnt and best practices QualificationsBachelors Degree in Engineering: Computer Science or Information Technology with a 60% and above10-15 years’ experience in a related IT fieldMinimum 3 years of people management experienceAdvanced knowledge of operating systems and networksExpertise in PC hardware diagnostics and troubleshootingAdvanced understanding of IT Infrastructure and Network SupportProven problem-solving and strong written and communication skillsProven service mind-setProven attention to detailsLutron Electronics’ position as the worldwide leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions has enabled consistent, annual growth.
