Lead – Vendor Governance (Corporate Business Correspondents)
Location – Gurugram / Hyderabad
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the governance, oversight, and performance management of Vendor and Corporate Business Correspondents (BCs). The role is accountable for ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, financial integrity, and risk mitigation in line with RBI’s outsourcing and BC guidelines. This position involves strategic leadership, structured audits, cross-functional coordination, and board-level reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Governance & Framework Development
- Establish and continuously enhance the Vendor Governance Framework for Corporate BCs.
- Develop and maintain governance charters, due diligence protocols, and audit checklists aligned with regulatory expectations.
- Own the Outsourcing Tracker, ensuring complete compliance with agreements, approvals, and due diligence reports. Audit & Performance Oversight
- Lead independent audits and performance reviews of Corporate BCs, covering compliance, operational processes, financial health, and IT/cybersecurity controls.
- Track KPIs & SLAs for each BC partner; drive corrective actions and improvement plans.
- Provide inputs on BC training & capability-building programs.
Compliance & Risk Management.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure holistic oversight.
- Present dashboards, audit findings, and risk reports to senior leadership and relevant committees (e.g., RMCB, Outsourcing Committee).
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk, Finance, or related field; MBA/CA/CS preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in vendor governance, outsourcing risk, or financial services compliance (preferably with exposure to BCs/PSPs/Fin Techs).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of audit and vendor risk management frameworks.
- Understanding of RBI outsourcing, BC guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial & operational analysis, SLA/KPI monitoring, and risk reporting.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage with senior management/committees.
