Duties Description Under the direction of the Data Analyst 3, SG-27, within the New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS), Dedicated Support division, for the Division of the Budget (DOB) section, the Information Technology Specialist 4 Database, SG-25, will be responsible for developing and managing business intelligence (BI) solutions for the client agency.
Specific duties shall include, but are not limited to:
•Lead the creation of business intelligence reports in IBM Cognos and OBIEE/Oracle Analytics.
•Develop and support data integrations via Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) using tools such as PL/SQL.
• Create data models using IBM Framework Manager or Oracle Admin Tool.
• Perform deployment and migration of content between different environments.
• Maintain responsibility for overseeing the security of reporting content.
•Work closely with agency clients.
•Provide quality assurance and testing support for all BI products.
