WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Information Technology Technician II maintains information technology systems (including PC and LAN/WAN equipment) for TNC offices in Mexico, the Caribbean, and other parts of Latin America. They provide IT operations functions to offices for the organization’s standard hardware, software and voice/data network solutions. Responsibilities may include the purchase, installation, and life-cycle maintenance of PCs, servers and network connectivity equipment. As appropriate, they provide escalated on-site support of hardware, software and network connectivity issues. The IT Technician II will act as the primary point of communication between IT and primary operating business units and external vendors. They will perform local administration and operations functions as appropriate in accordance with TNC and IT standards, policies and procedures. They are responsible for monitoring data backups in offices to ensure that they are completed on a regular basis.

Are you an aspiring IT Technician passionate about resolving IT problems? We are looking for a qualified IT Technician II to join TNC! Our ideal candidate has an in depth knowledge of computer software and hardware and a hands on experience with a different variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. Training experience, project management and database management are all skills that will help you succeed in this role. WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Associates degree along with 2 years’ experience in operations or equivalent combined. 
• Experience with MS Office software, Windows and Macintosh environment.
• Experience manipulating, analyzing and interpreting data.
• Customer service skills
• Ability to solve problems
• Proficiency in English is required (writing, reading, speaking)
• Valid passport for international travel

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
• Training ability and/or experience is a plus.
