You will be the Infrared (IR) Camera Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Programs team in Santa Barbara, CA. Our team delivers cutting edge IR sensor solutions for space, defense, and commercial customers, turning innovative concepts into high performance hardware that protects lives worldwide.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the IR Camera Systems Engineer you will lead technical teams, shape future product roadmaps, and ensure current IR camera productions run flawlessly. You will partner with internal stakeholders and external customers to define requirements, model system performance, and verify that every design meets its goals. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading EO/IR analysis and physics based modeling to develop and validate sensor system concepts.
• Driving trade studies, requirements definition, and architectural decisions for new and existing IR cameras.
