Job Responsibilities

* Assist project teams, database teams and development teams in the setting up of new replication requests
* Provide operational support for replication technologies
* Provide assistance and training to database teams regarding replication technologies
* Work with vendors to troubleshoot replication issues as needed
* Test new releases and patches provided by vendors
* Support migrations from legacy replication technologies to new technologies
* Confer with application owners, users, and other engineers to collect requirements for replication enhancements
* Provide on call support

Job Skills and Qualifications
* Required:
* overall 7 years of IT experience
* 3-5 years' experience supporting database or replication technologies especially QLIK replicate
* Linux Shell scripting and Windows Power Shell scripting
* Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or other database technologies
