An Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for leading technical engagements across the full lifecycle—from presales to implementation and post-deployment support. This role demands deep expertise in infrastructure technologies, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Presales & Solution Design

  • Conduct technical presentations and demos for clients
  • Scope and size infrastructure solutions based on client requirements
  • Prepare configuration details including specifications and product offerings

Implementation & Deployment

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and integration of systems (e.g., servers, storage, networking, virtualization)
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability standards
  • Collaborate with project managers to meet delivery timelines
