Infrastructure Fullstack Engineer

As a Fullstack Infrastructure engineer in the Frontend guild, you'll build tools used by every frontend developer at Wix to improve velocity and quality. You'll take projects from ideation to production, work with cutting-edge full-stack technologies, and be part of a highly experienced infrastructure team.

In your day-to-day, you will: 

• Build tools to improve developer velocity and code quality 

• Create and own solutions in areas like production testing and performance 

• Use AI as an integral part of your day-to-day development - from coding and testing to design and decision-making 

• Take projects from ideation to production, including technical design and coding 

• Work with modern full-stack technologies and industry-leading tools 

• Collaborate with experienced colleagues on impactful infrastructure projects 

• Influence developer-centric tools at every level 

At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Our work model is fully in person, with 5 days a week from our office. Flexibility remains a core value at Wix and special requests are handled thoughtfully at the team level.

 

• 4+ years of experience as a Javascript developer with a passion for tooling 

• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), TypeScript, and build tools (Vite, Next.js, SWC) 

• Deep understanding of backend fundamentals - designing APIs, handling data flows, and building scalable, maintainable systems (Node.js / Scala experience a plus) 

• Proactive approach to staying updated on industry best practices and tools 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently and as part of a team 

• Experience with end-to-end product development (frontend, server, cloud) - an advantage
