Job Title: Infrastructure Security Specialist

Overview

The Infrastructure Security Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security controls across IT infrastructure environments. The role focuses on protecting networks, servers, cloud platforms, and data centres against internal and external threats while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 6 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security operations.

• Basic understanding of Cryptography and Ethereum-based blockchain and Optimism rollup

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Architecture and security design reviews for AWS infrastructure and platform services.
  • Good understanding on Prisma Cloud CSPM, CWPP
  • CI/CD and IaC security scanning
  • Define and maintain policy-as-code standards to prevent security defects.
  • Analyze Prisma findings and drive risk-based remediation with engineering teams.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services: IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, EKS/ECS, Lambda Guard Duty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, KMS.
  • SDL findings lifecycle including: Identification, Remediation guidance, Verification and closure
  • AWS services VPC (subnets, security groups, routing tables), NAT Gateway, Load balancers, Network firewall, WAF, EC2
  • Network Protocols like TLS, TCP and UDP
  • Linux/Windows server hardening and endpoint security
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Security Specialty or AWS Certified Solution Architect

Optional Skills

• Design secure network and server infrastructures (on-premises and cloud) as part of change requests
