Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• (preferred) or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering and team leadership roles
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools, scripting languages, and version control systems

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the infrastructure engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of servers, storage, networks, and virtualization platforms, both on-premise and in the cloud
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending solutions to enhance IT capabilities and efficiency
• Drive automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) techniques
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, implementing proactive measures for optimization and risk mitigation
• Oversee and optimize the organization’s backup strategy to ensure reliable data protection, successful recovery, and compliance with business and regulatory requirements
• Implement and enforce security controls, access controls, and compliance with cybersecurity standards
• Conduct security assessments and support incident response and forensic investigations
• Manage cloud infrastructure services and optimize resource usage and costs
• Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for infrastructure management
• Collaborate with other IT and business teams to support projects and resolve technical issues
