Injection Molding Process Engineer

Job Description Job Description Summary: The Process Engineer is responsible for maintaining the control of processes in injection molding. This position is also responsible for providing support to the execution of the production schedule including anything from component changes, setups and startups. Essential Job Duties/Functions: Direct and monitor the execution of the production schedule. Perform mold and/or material changes as dictated by the schedule. Perform process troubleshooting, part inspections, and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality. Ensure machine is setup correctly with the FAI and 1st piece to produce good parts esp. on the start of a new week. Verify paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at startup of jobs. Perform in-process inspections and fill out relevant paperwork. Monitor and prepare support equipment (i.e. circulators, grinders, etc.) as needed in the production area.
