Ink Formulator

Overview:

•   Responsible for providing color match and color proof support to our press department; and provide internal color support for special and new projects.



Apply color theory and digital color principals using various lab equipment, Outlook, Excel and color software/hardware to yield proficient color matching and proofing to meet production and customer request.

Essential Job Duties:

• Create and reproduction of high-quality Color Match and proofs for all incoming requests for all projects.


• Format and create customer presentations in accordance to established strict specification tolerances.
• Formulate and/or modify color matches using appropriate colorants, finished ink systems, additives, special effect metallic, pearlescent, optical brighteners, vehicles and extenders, and others as required.
