Job Summary
Ink Specialist responsibility is to work under direct supervision, provide color matching, formulating, and small batch blending supporting the Printing department.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and helps prepare ink requirement for presses.
  • Formulates, blends and quality controls inks per the customer requirement.
  • Stages as well as returns inks from press to returns area.
  • Performs press-side color matching and troubleshooting when required. Establishes ink room color cert standards and entering the digital standards.
  • Supports customer ink trials.
  • Other duties as assigned.
