Job Title: Innovation Scientist
Location: Unilever R&D Bangalore
Job Purpose
The R&D category innovation scientist will be responsible for:
. Supporting early stage innovation projects for the category.
. Ensure that consumer insights drive the initiatives pursued, in syn with organizational strategy
. Identification & application of new ingredients/science in line with category strategy
. Work closely with cross functional teams to ideate, projectize and deliver into the innovation pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
. Provides scientific support & claims substantiation for identified innovation opportunities for the category.
. Performs comprehensive and critical evaluation of own data and data from other scientists to ensure its credibility and finds application in form of innovation opportunities.
. Identify and liaise with external innovators to work on white spaces or leverage their technology for new or existing innovations.
