Role Overview:


We're looking for talented React Developers to build high‑performance, responsive web experiences that enhance Inshorts' news delivery. Ideal candidates have a flair for frontend excellence and want to help scale a product used by millions daily.


Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop and maintain responsive React.js applications featuring dynamic content.




  • Optimize for performance, accessibility, and multilingual user interfaces.




  • Collaborate with backend services to seamlessly integrate APIs.




  • Conduct thorough code reviews and support CI/CD processes.




  • Work closely with designers, QA, and product managers in an Agile environment.




Required Skills & Experience:




  • 2–4 years of frontend development with solid expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.




  • Strong familiarity with React state management (Redux, Context API, or equivalent).




  • Experience integrating REST APIs, handling JSON, and using Git workflows.




  • Knowledge of modern build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Yarn/NPM.




  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (Tier 1/2 college, any branch).




Good-to-Have & Differentiators:




  • Experience with TypeScript, Jest or React Testing Library.




  • CI/CD exposure (e.g., with GitHub Actions, Jenkins).




  • Familiarity with multi-language interfaces, progressive web app design, or real-time data fetching.




  • UX-oriented mindset and accessibility best practices.

  1. Task Round – Real-world coding challenge




  2. Technical Round 1 – React architecture & fundamentals




  3. Technical Round 2 – Advanced JS & performance optimization




  4. Final Round – Product & culture fit, tie-up with Inshorts stakeholders
