Assistant Manager – Inside Sales (Individual Contributor)

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly driven Assistant Manager – Inside Sales to independently manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closure. The role focuses on handling key accounts, driving conversions, and supporting revenue growth through strong customer engagement and coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end inside sales activities including inbound and outbound leads
  • Handle key and repeat customers with a consultative sales approach
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products/solutions
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, pricing, and negotiations
  • Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline, and follow-ups in CRM
  • Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order fulfillment
  • Drive target achievement through consistent follow-ups and relationship building
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts
  • Ensure timely closure of deals and customer satisfaction

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)
  • 5–6 years of experience in Inside Sales / B2B Sales / Customer Management
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools, MS Excel, and reporting
  • Self-driven, accountable, and comfortable working with targets
