Job Title Inside Sales Executive B2C (EdTech) Location: Trichy Employment Type: Full-time Role Summary The Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for converting inbound and outbound leads into successful enrollments for online degree and certification programs. This role involves engaging with prospective students, understanding their educational goals, guiding them through the application and payment process, and consistently achieving enrollment targets while maintaining high-quality customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound inquiries and perform outbound follow-up calls to prospective students. Conduct effective tele-calling and counseling to explain program features, benefits, eligibility, and outcomes. Understand student needs and recommend suitable online degree or certification programs. Guide students through the end-to-end enrollment process, including application submission and fee payment. Build rapport and maintain strong engagement with students to improve conversion rates. Achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets as defined by the organization. Accurately update and manage lead details, call notes, and follow-up status in the CRM system. Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain discipline in call schedules. Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and enrollment confirmation. Maintain professionalism, ethical selling practices, and a student-first approach at all times. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of successful enrollments achieved Lead-to-conversion ratio Call productivity (daily call volume, talk time) Follow-up adherence and CRM accuracy Student engagement and response quality Qualifications & Experience Any Graduate (UG mandatory) 1 to 4 years of experience in inside sales, tele-counseling, or academic counseling Experience in EdTech / Education sales (B2C) is preferred Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Skills Required Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills Ability to confidently handle objections and close enrollments Proficiency in at least two languages other than the mother tongue, from the following: Tamil English Hindi Telugu Kannada Good listening skills with a consultative sales approach Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems Time management, follow-up discipline, and result-oriented mindset
Secondary education (10th Pass) preferred.
1-3 years
Responsibilities: Conduct outbound calls to explain health insurance products to customers. Generate and follow up on leads to convert calls into sales. Attend one month of free training to understand products, customer service skills, and lead generation techniques. Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed targets. Maintain accurate records of calls and customer interactions.
