Role: Team Lead – Inside Sales


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of telesales executives to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics, call quality, and conversion rates to ensure consistent achievement of KPIs.
  • Conduct regular training, coaching, and upskilling sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Handle escalations from customers and support the team in closing high-value or complex sales.
  • Review and maintain accurate team reports, sales dashboards, and CRM data.
  • Implement sales strategies to increase revenue, improve funnel conversion, and meet organisational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, quality standards, and internal processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, product, marketing) to resolve issues and improve workflows.
  • Drive a positive and high-performance culture within the telesales team.


Required Skills & Qualification

  • 3–5 years of telesales/inside sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory role (insurance/financial services preferred).
  • Strong communication skills in Hindi and English; ability to guide and motivate a sales team.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and optimise team performance.
  • Ability to handle objections, negotiate, and assist team members in closing sales effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and basic MS Office.
  • Goal-oriented, self-driven, and capable of managing a target-driven team environment.
