With a growing number of leads coming from our website, Whats App, calls, emails, and other sources, we need a dynamic and experienced Head of Inside Sales to streamline lead management, optimize conversion rates, and ensure seamless coordination with sales, service, and operations teams. This role will be critical in transforming raw inquiries into successful closures, maximizing revenue potential across both B2 B and B2 C channels.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead Management & Distribution
Oversee the inbound lead pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate assignment of leads from various sources (website, Whats App, calls, emails).
Develop and implement lead scoring criteria to prioritize high-value opportunities.
Implement systems to track lead status, follow-ups, and conversion metrics.
Conversion Optimization
Design and execute lead conversion strategies, including follow-up cadences, objection handling, and persuasive selling techniques.
Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, scripts, and communication strategies tailored to different lead segments (residential, commercial, projects).
Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to shorten the sales cycle and increase closure rates.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact between inside sales, field sales, and service teams to ensure smooth handoff and timely follow-ups.
Coordinate with operations to track order fulfillment, delivery timelines, and post-sales support for successful lead conversion.
Maintain strong alignment with marketing to ensure lead generation efforts are effectively converting into revenue.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards to track lead status, conversion rates, sales pipeline velocity, and revenue impact.
Present weekly and monthly performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
Process Development & Improvement
Implement SOPs for lead qualification, follow-up cadence, and lead transfer protocols to ensure consistency and accountability.
Train and mentor the inside sales team on best practices in lead management, CRM usage, and persuasive selling techniques.
Continuously assess lead management tools and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Customer Experience & Feedback Loop
Develop feedback mechanisms to capture insights from potential customers, identifying common objections, product gaps, and missed opportunities.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to integrate customer feedback into ongoing product development and marketing strategies.
Skillset & Qualifications Required:
Proven Sales Leadership Experience
6-9 years of experience in inside sales, lead management, or sales operations, preferably within home improvement, consumer goods, or B2 B industries.
Demonstrated success in managing high-volume lead pipelines and driving conversion across multiple channels (calls, emails, Whats App, website).
Data-Driven & Results-Oriented
Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking sales metrics, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot, Zoho) and sales automation software.
Process & Systems Optimization
Track record of implementing SOPs to streamline lead management and ensure consistent follow-ups.
Experience training sales teams in lead qualification, objection handling, and closing techniques.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Skilled in coordinating with field sales, marketing, and operations to align on sales targets and ensure smooth lead handoff.
Exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders and provide clear visibility into lead performance.
Customer-Centric Approach
Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, lead nurturing, and follow-up strategies tailored to different customer segments.
Ability to extract insights from customer interactions and relay feedback to marketing and product teams for continuous improvement.
Strategic & Hands-On Leadership
Comfortable setting high-level sales strategies while also getting into the day-to-day details of lead management and conversion.
Proactive problem-solver who can identify gaps in the sales funnel and implement corrective actions.
