The Opportunity

Tundra has an opening for an Inside Sales Rep, in Fort St. John, BC. The successful candidate will be a sales professional who reflects a commitment to being responsive to our customer’s unique needs. They will possess exceptional organizational and customer service skills as they navigate a dynamic and customer-focused environment. Their ability to demonstrate a high degree of collaboration and support with stakeholders is key.

The Role

  • Foster relationships with customers by exploring business opportunities, promoting our product offerings, and providing solutions based on technical requirement.

  • Prepare and execute sales quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders to completion – Using ERP software.

  • Support customers and internal business units with technical requirements.

  • Coordinate orders with internal business units and manufactures to ensure our customers receive a positive experience, quality products and flawless execution.

  • Communication with external and internal stakeholders.

  • Customer order management.

  • Supporting the division manager with forecasting, and reporting.
  • The Candidate 

  • Experience in an inside sales technical role supporting industrial, institutional, and commercial products.

  • Experience with VFDs, Motors and Switchgear AND/OR experience with Instrumentation (Measurement and Analytical).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude to navigate technical questions and address warranty and service-related issues.

  • Experience quoting Industrial Buildings is considered an asset.

  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Compensation: $60,000-90,000 based on experience
