Role Overview


We are looking for an Inside Sales professional to support the growth of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. This role focuses on lead qualification, opportunity development, customer engagement, and sales enablement , working closely with field sales, pre-sales, and technical teams.


The role is ideal for candidates who understand engineering, manufacturing, or PLM/CAD environments and want to build a career in consultative B2B technology sales .


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead Management & Qualification
  • Engage with inbound leads from marketing campaigns, events, and referrals
  • Qualify leads based on industry, engineering maturity, PLM readiness, and business need
  • Identify key stakeholders (Engineering, R&D, IT, Operations) within customer organisations
  • Maintain accurate lead and opportunity data in CRM


Customer Engagement & Opportunity Nurturing

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer design, engineering, and data challenges
  • Educate prospects on PLM concepts, value propositions, and solution capabilities
  • Nurture prospects through follow-ups, email campaigns, and structured conversations
  • Schedule qualified meetings for field sales and solution consultants


Sales Support & Coordination


  • Support proposal preparation, pricing coordination, and commercial documentation
  • Work with technical and delivery teams to align customer expectations
  • Track deal progress and support closure activities
  • Assist in renewals, upgrades, and cross-sell opportunities


  • Market Intelligence & Reporting


  • Capture customer feedback, objections, and market insights
  • Track funnel metrics: lead-to-meeting, meeting-to-opportunity, opportunity-to-closure
  • Provide regular reports on pipeline health and sales activity


Ideal Candidate Profile

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field
  • 2–6 years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, or pre-sales
  • Exposure to PLM, CAD, Engineering Software, SaaS, or B2B technology sales preferred


Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong communication and discovery skills
  • Ability to understand engineering workflows and translate them into business conversations
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, email campaigns, and structured follow-ups
  • Organised, persistent, and process-driven
  • Willingness to learn complex technical offerings
