2. Specification and duties of Sales support Engineer The Sales Support Engineer will be an inside sales position with the following responsibilities: - Assist the outside sales staff with proposal generation, which often requires contact with Engineering and R&D staff in Europe to check feasibility and to define the possibilities for custom-made design of the ABC corp. products; - Generate proposals for unassigned accounts; - Transition the resulting order from proposal to factory acceptable order by means of the CRM system; - Communicate order-related information between Client and Factory; - Process orders from Gouda for US supplied goods; - Answer questions about the installed base; - Handle inquiries for new products, and occasionally visiting customers (eg. to attend kickoff meetings and to clarify quotations as needed); - Contact with Corporate Office located in Holland on a daily basis; - Occasional trips to Europe (once or twice a year for a full week); - Other activities as required by the Area Managers. 3. Administration The Sales Support Engineer will be responsible for filing inquiries, calculations, price build-ups, quotations, specifications, etc. on the network, and in the future, in the DMS system currently being implemented. With the assistance from the Office Manager, the Sales Support Engineer will regularly update the status of proposals and orders in our CRM system. 4. Profile and Qualifications The Sales Support Engineer position requires strong technical knowledge combined with communication and commercial skills to interpret inquiries and prepare quotations for custom-made engineered equipment. Attention to detail is critical. Knowledge of Portuguese and/or Spanish would be an asset. Potential to grow into an outside sales position. This position would be the perfect opportunity for a starting BSc Engineer or a highly qualified Engineering Technician.Apply for this Position
