Inspection Engineer (Civil)

Key Responsibilities (Mention responsibilities applicable to the position. Add rows if needed)

• On behalf of the Owner, witnessing and ensuring the field quality assurance and carry out final checking after completion of transmission line strictly as per the Approved Documents, pertaining to the different stages of the construction and field quality plan. On behalf of the Owner, checking/ monitoring of the quality of construction activities like tower foundation casting (including checking of material and aggregates for civil works, verification of test certificate, testing), tower erection, stringing etc as per the Approved Documents.
• Foundation back-to-back diagonal at the top of the stub, centre location of foundation, level of the top point of all stubs shall be checked & recorded for all locations after casting of foundation by Contractor and any non-conformity with respect to Approved Documents to be highlighted and submitted to Owners representative.
• Daily, Weekly and Monthly status and FQR shall be submitted by Service Provider to Owner for all activities as per agreed format with officer-in-charge of the Owner, with clear mention of any exceptions, deviations and/or non-conformity with respect to Approved Documents, if any Visual inspection of foundation, benching and revetment to the extent possible, dimension check & recording as per actual vis--vis Approved Documents. Inspection of erected towers, hardware fittings, and other accessories & recording as per actual vis--vis Approved Documents.
• Recording of drum schedule, conductor joints, repair sleeve etc.
• After completing final checking, consolidate report containing open Punch Points and non-conformance shall be submitted by Service Provider within one month for approval of respective engineer-in-charge of Owner and before invoicing.

Technical / business-unit specific skills and knowledge

• Strong knowledge of applicable
• odes/standards/specifications/standards practices for insepction work related to construction of tranmission line Good communication skill to handle contractors and customer Knoweldge of MS office at least to prepare daily insepction report & prepare project status.

Education

Degree Engineering + 10 year or diploma+ 12 years experience
