Job Description
Job Purpose
To carry out the inspection, testing, and preparation of generators and associated equipment, ensuring all equipment meets company and customer requirements. Full training will be provided; however, relevant transferable skills are desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out checking, testing, and preparation of generators up to 1250kVA in line with company procedures
Test associated equipment including cables, distribution boards, and fuel tanks
Load and unload generators and equipment from lorries using a fork truck
Safely manoeuvre and position equipment within the yard and workshop
Complete digital job cards and associated documentation accurately and on time
Ensure all work is carried out in full compliance with company Health & Safety procedures
Identify and report faults, damage, or non-conformances to supervisors
Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
