:The Ferrous Materials Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming ferrous materials to ensure they meet company specifications and quality standards. This role also involves purchasing compliant materials and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures.
Examine customer-delivered ferrous materials to identify the appropriate commodity classification.
Determine the purchase category and approve or reject materials based on established specifications.
