AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Wichita, Kansas that is one of the world's largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. With expertise in aluminum and advanced composite manufacturing solutions, the company’s core products include fuselages, integrated wings and wing components, pylons, and nacelles.
The Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly is responsible for ensuring that all fabricated and assembled components meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with engineering specifications.
Essential Job Functions:
Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignmentsExperience working with Quality Management System Policies and ProceduresWorking knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and SpecificationsOverall working knowledge of production processesGood communication skills written and verbalGood computing skillsMaintain certifications as requiredFollow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assembliesVerify that tools are qualifiedPrepare and maintain Quality recordsWork across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required Requirements
5 years’ experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection Blueprint reading experienceMS Office and SAP experience Experience writing NCRs (Tags)SAP experiencePrevious Spirit or Boeing experienceBoeing 737 Airframe/Fuselage Experience
