About The Role
We are seeking a Freelance Meme Creator to develop engaging and original meme content for our Instagram presence. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Instagram trends, meme culture, and audience engagement, with the ability to translate brand messaging into highly shareable content.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original, high-quality memes optimized for Instagram.
- Adapt trending meme formats, audios, and viral themes to suit brand objectives.
- Produce static memes and short motion/video memes suitable for Reels.
- Maintain consistency with brand voice, tone, and visual guidelines.
- Stay up to date with Instagram trends, pop culture, and platform updates.
- Collaborate with the marketing/content team on campaign-based content.
- Deliver content within agreed timelines and content calendars.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram meme culture and social media trends.
- Proven ability to create engaging, relatable, and shareable content.
- Excellent creative judgment, humor, and timing.
- Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Cap Cut, After Effects, or similar.
- Ability to write concise, impactful captions aligned with brand messaging.
- Basic understanding of Instagram engagement metrics and performance.
- Ability to incorporate feedback and iterate quickly.
- Self-motivated with strong time-management skills.
