Job Description
Role Summary:
The Installation Helper is responsible for the timely, efficient, high-quality and safe execution of installation tasks as assigned to him by the Installations Supervisor. This position is also responsible for the efficient, proper and safe usage of company tools, equipment and materials as well as ensuring the clean and safe running of installation works at client premises.
Main Duties
• Support in the installation of gas pipes, fittings, regulators, detection system and tanks as per Installations Supervisor directives, ensuring efficient, safe and quality execution
• Update Installation Supervisor on the day-to-day project execution
• Use company tools in a safe and responsible manner and ensure their maintenance in good working condition
• Clean and safely pack-away all materials and tools after completion of daily tasks
Qualifications
• A Technical degree from an accredited institution (BT3 or TS3)
• 1 to 2 years’ similar experience
• Able to read, write and communicate well in Arabic
Technical knowledge, skills & abilities required
• Good knowledge of electrical circuits, gas networks, gas composition, gas pressure and gas types
• Familiarity with installation of copper networks, welding, electrical works and binding copper pipes as well as installation procedures, fittings, regulators, tools, and gas accessories
Soft skills required
• Must be in excellent physical condition
• High degree of professionalism and integrity with staff and clients alike
• Clean and tidy appearance
Working conditions
• The position is based in Fanar. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
