Brief about Role:


We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service & Installation person to handle installation, commissioning, and after-sales service of doors, windows, and related hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to delivering superior customer satisfaction.



Roles & Responsibilities:


Installation & Commissioning

  • Carry out installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of doors, windows, glass systems, and associated hardware at client/project sites.
  • Ensure installations are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and company standards.

Service & Maintenance

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure smooth functioning of installed systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical/electrical issues at site within defined TATs.

Customer Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer service calls and site-related technical issues.
  • Provide timely, effective, and professional resolution to customer concerns, ensuring high satisfaction levels.

Site Management & Coordination

  • Conduct site surveys to assess technical feasibility, installation readiness, and system requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal project, sales, and supply chain teams for smooth execution and timely completion of installations.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to installation SOPs, safety norms, and company quality guidelines at all sites.
  • Identify and report any deviations, risks, or non-compliance issues proactively.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain installation checklists, service reports, and site visit records.
  • Update job status, service details, and closure reports in the service management system.

Training & Handover

  • Provide product operation demonstrations and basic maintenance training to end-users, facility teams, and site staff.
  • Ensure proper handover of systems post-installation with required documentation.



Skillset and Qualifications Required:

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering .
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in installation and servicing of doors, windows, glass systems, architectural hardware, or building products .
  • Strong knowledge of installation techniques, alignment tools, and site execution practices.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and installation manuals.
