Job Description

The Commercial Security Installation Technician is responsible for installing a wide range of commercial electronic security systems for enterprise clients, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, electronic locks, low-voltage communication devices, point sensors, and various signaling components. In this role, the technician troubleshoots and commissions newly installed systems to ensure proper functionality, code compliance, and alignment with project requirements. Daily work involves traveling to client sites using a company-issued vehicle, performing system installations, validating performance, and documenting completed work. The position also requires running electrical and low-voltage wiring—such as drilling, trenching, mounting hardware, and completing aerial cable routes; while ensuring all wiring is neatly concealed and properly integrated with control panels and security software.
