About the Role
We are looking for a high-performing Institutional Equity Sales professional to strengthen our institutional franchise. The role involves managing and growing relationships with domestic and global institutional investors, driving research-led trade ideas, and generating consistent brokerage revenues across equity cash and derivatives.
This position offers an opportunity to work closely with the CIO, Research, Trading, and Investment Banking teams, and contribute meaningfully to Systematix Group's growth in the institutional market.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
• Acquire and manage relationships with Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, FIIs, Family Offices & HNIs.
• Deepen wallet share and engagement with existing institutional clients.
• Maintain strong connectivity with CIOs, Fund Managers, and Analysts.
• Drive client satisfaction through proactive service and idea delivery.
Revenue Generation & Trade Flow
• Achieve monthly/quarterly brokerage and revenue targets.
• Drive consistent trade flow across Cash & Derivatives.
• Monetize research ideas and corporate access to generate executions.
• Track and grow contribution from top accounts.
Research Marketing & Corporate Access
• Effectively market in-house research and investment ideas.
• Coordinate analyst interactions, roadshows, conferences & NDRs.
• Provide timely sector and stock-specific updates to clients.
• Position Systematix as a trusted thought partner for institutions.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
• Track market trends, sector movements, and investor flows.
• Share actionable client feedback and insights with Research & CIO.
• Identify emerging themes and new business opportunities.
Internal Coordination & Execution Excellence
• Work closely with Trading, Research, ECM, and Operations teams.
• Ensure seamless order execution and post-trade service.
• Resolve client issues with speed and professionalism.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and internal compliance norms.
• Maintain high ethical standards and proper client documentation.
• Avoid conflicts of interest and ensure information integrity.
Leadership & Team Development (For VP Level)
• Mentor and guide junior sales team members.
• Support team hiring, training, and performance management.
• Contribute to building a strong sales culture and franchise.
Preferred Candidate Profile
• Education: MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred.
• Experience: 5–10+ years in Institutional Equity Sales / Capital Markets.
• Strong understanding of Indian equity markets & client strategies.
• Proven ability to generate revenues and manage large institutional accounts.
• Excellent communication, presentation & stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset, high integrity, and strong execution capability.
