Instructional Designer

Objective: 

To plan, develop, and ensure the effectiveness of instructional design, integrating Indigenous teaching and learning approaches, according to the OFIFCs pedagogical framework.  

Key Deliverables: 

• To design curricula and develop resources reflective of Indigenous approaches to teaching and learning. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Instructional Design (60%): 

• Designs teaching and learning modules, materials, courses, processes, evaluations and supportive resources for Instructors, Friendship Centresand external partners; 
• Designs curriculum and resources that are adaptable for in-person, blended and online delivery methods; 
• Incorporates Indigenous cultural concepts related to lifelong learning, experiential learning, and online learning;
