Instructional Designer (Job Share)

Responsibilities

1. Course Design: Work with various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to effectively blueprint and design instructional content, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and pedagogical best practices, while coordinating with other Learning Technology teams for technical development of courses.
2. Technology Integration: Research and recommend the integration of emerging technologies into instructional design processes in alignment with Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Strategic Plan and the Learning and Teaching Division’s Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) Plan.
3. Professional Development : Stay current with trends and best practices in instructional design and educational technologies to support Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Strategic Plan and TEL Plan.
4. Needs Assessment: Conduct learner and content needs assessment in collaboration with SMEs to inform effective course design and revisions.
