Job Duties Job Duties 1. Interview and select appropriate candidates for Essential Skills programs.
2. Administer appropriate & relevant occupation and skills assessments; assess candidates’ education & employment qualifications and histories; interpret results.
3. Advise candidates of appropriate programming pathway to employment.
4. Plan, develop and deliver classroom and workplace instruction as assigned, which will facilitate the learning of work related skills. This may include essential skills development, employment preparation, job search and personal management skills.
5. Manage within an adult centered learning environment, establish rapport, encourage aspirations and facilitate problem solving in a non-threatening environment.
6. Evaluate and report on learners’ progress in essential skills, labour market preparation and work experience courses, as assigned.
